I have photographed this beautiful family in the past and when they asked if I would capture their new little addition with a lifestyle newborn session, I couldn't say no. Baby Lila was certainly wide awake for her first modeling debut. She did not want to miss a thing and who could blame her? It is exciting getting your photograph taken, right?
The cuteness didn't end with Lila. Her brother Jameson was beyond enjoyable to photograph and interact with. When I tell you Jameson had personality for days, it is not an exaggeration. I could photograph him 1,000 times and it would never get old. Throughout our session we laughed, we sang the peanut butter, jelly song and discussed Paw Patrol. All of which I am very fluent in considering I have two of my own babes around the same age. He has an adoration for his little sister that is beyond adorable. The love this family has for one another is beautiful and something we can all admire. So without prolonging this any further, everybody give a warm welcome to little Miss Lila! Last week, Mr. Matteo's mama asked if I had any availability to squeeze in a quick session for his one year birthday session. Of course I said yes, because who can resist a ridiculously cute baby boy? Not to mention, I am in the midst of converting my home office in Macomb, MI into a natural light studio. It was perfect timing to give it a spin.
So I prepared all my flooring options, busted out the crates and rugs and anxiously awaited for them to arrive. When they did, Matteo's outfit did not disappoint. It was customized with his name and his age. He had the cutest little suspenders and rolled jeans. And his feet, oh his cute little feet, I wanted to eat them all up! He smiled, he crawled, he played. All things that make for a great session. So without further adieu, a little peek into Matteo's first birthday session <3 |
